SquidCat Thinks

Since I first started SquidCat, Ink, it has been very important to me that it be an environmentally friendly brand. So from the get go I searched for paper and envelopes that were made of 100% recycled paper, and the protective clear sleeves I use to protect my products are compostable. 

Recently, I realized that somewhere I could improve was my packaging. I send most things via USPS, so I had been shipping in their free mail boxes. But, I'm wasn't sure whether or not these boxes were the most environmentally friendly option, so I went on a search to reinvent my packaging, and wanted to share my results below!

New year new stuff! This upcoming release brings you 2 new prints and a whopping 6 new cards! I hopped around a little bit this time, working with some old projects and some new. Allow me to introduce you to the newest designs! From popular demand, my pet sympathy card We Remember has been made into a print. I created this painting around the time I lost my dear cat Archimedes, and it brought great comfort to me, as I hope it brings to others too. This year, I thought it might be fun to share each month what creativity is inspiring me behind the scenes! I call it my Idea Junkyard – it’s always hard to pinpoint where exactly ideas come from, but I suspect it’s the confluence of all my favorite things.
